Accessible Church

A warm welcome awaits you at all services, activities and events offered by St. John’s Church. We are committed to making things as accessible as possible. If there is something we can do to help you better interact with our delivery, please do get in touch with the office.

Sunday Morning Services

The words for songs and liturgy are normally displayed on a large projector screen, and there is a hearing aid loop fitted. Occasionally books or sheets are used, large print versions available. If you are concerned about covid or would prefer space around you, pick up a ‘please leave a gap’ card on the way in. Someone will be near the entrance to greet you – they can also offer advice and support if required. The toilets are located in the centre next to the main church, please ask the person on welcome for directions if unsure. A disabled toilet and baby change is also available.

4 o’clock Church

We use pictures alongside words in our liturgy and worship to help everyone feel included, normally shown on the large projector screen. There is plenty of activity at this service so if you need to move around that’s ok.
There is a dedicated zone for pre-schoolers with colourful, easy to clean and fun but quiet toys so parents can relax and engage with the service. We’re glad you’re here, don’t worry about noise. The toilets are located in the centre next to the main church, please ask the person on welcome for directions if unsure. A hearing aid loop, disabled toilet and baby change is also available.
