Christmas at St. Johns 2019

Saturday 7th December

4pm, Light the Tree: For all the family! Come along & enjoy the festivities in the run up to Christmas as we think about community and the joy of giving. This year, we invite you to bring along two things…
A decoration from home that you would usually put on your tree, to be part of the Community Christmas Tree displayed inside the church, and a donation for the FoodBank which helps so many at this costly time of year.
Come & enjoy the warmth of community as we turn on the Christmas Lights to herald in the season.

Christmas Challenge

Let’s read the Bible together!

If you read a chapter of Luke every day during December, by Christmas Eve you will have read all about the life of Jesus!

With so much going on at this time of year, it is important to remember what’s important. Reading about the life of Jesus on the run up to Christmas will help keep you focused on the true meaning of the season.

Alone this Christmas?

A very warm welcome awaits you at the St. John’s Church Christmas events, services and activities. If you want to be with others on Christmas day, please get in touch or contact the Emsworth Community Christmas directly.

The Rest of the Year

A warm welcome awaits you at all of the regular services at St. John’s. On a Sunday, we meet together in the main church building to share in God’s word together. Morning services have a family feel with a programme for young people – an all together services happens once a month. The evening services are a time to go deeper with the Bible. Full details can be found on the services page – see you soon!
