The Youth Groups at St. John’s meet Wednesday  and Sunday evenings during term time. We provide a range of activities with a Spiritual and Social focus for all Young People. We try to be creative, active, re-active, fun, meaningful, committed, special, loving and dedicated. GYG has now merged with YLD and has become…’Seven Eleven’ it is all about music, games, chat, cake, trips, activities and more! We normally have the pool table or table tennis out, some creative and crafty stuff and we spend some time each evening reflecting on Biblical or Ethical themes.

‘Seven Eleven’ is for everyone in School Years 7 to 11 and takes place every Wednesday during term time, 7.15pm to 8.30pm @ St. John’s Church Centre.

UBS meets every week for discussion around a Biblical Theme. The group joins with the evening service for the first part, then breaks off for cake, coffee and discussion. This is a new idea – your feedback is welcomed! Click here for more details

For people in School Years 10 to 13, Every Sunday, 6.30pm, St, John’s Church Centre

Join with the evening service, followed by refreshments and discussion for all those in school years 7 to 9. The programme is similar to UBS, please get intouch for more information!

Held on 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of each month, 6.30pm in St. John’s Parish Centre.

Throughout the year we hold a variety of one events, trips and other activities. Last year these included Soul Survivor summer festival, Slum Survivor (sleepout to raise money for soul action and tearfund), a week’s residential at St George’s House which is an activity centre in North Devon, Family Fun Day, Noise Project (social action project along with other churches in the area), regular off site activities including Portsmouth gymnasium, bowling, CYE sailing centre and many more.
