The Craft Club has just completed a new set of six banners which are now hanging in church. Each one represents a sacrament or festival and is backed with the appropriate liturgical colour; they are Advent, Palm Sunday, Easter, Pentecost, Trinity and Baptism.  Do have a look at them when you are next in St Johns’s.  

Our Craft Club is a very informal group to which everyone is welcome, whatever their craft experience or ability. We encourage members to share their skills and to learn from each other frequently trying new activities. We hope that members will join in with the session’s project but, if it doesn’t appeal, please just bring your own project and simply enjoy the company. Each session costs £1 which covers refreshments and often covers materials as well.

We meet upstairs in the church centre on the first Wednesday of each month from 9.45am until midday and on the second and fourth Thursdays from 1.45pm until 4.00pm.
